Maharashtra Public Service Commission is on the way to conduct a Preliminary Examination for STI (Sales Tax Inspector) posts in July 2017. Therefore, download MPSC STI (Sales Tax Inspector) hall ticket/admit card 2017 from the board’s official website in the first week of July month.

Recently, MPSC has released a notification with Advt. No. 23/2017 on its official website. According to which, online applications were invited from the candidates for filling up 251 posts of Sales Tax Inspectors (विक्रीकर निरीक्षक). As per the notification, the board will conduct MPSC STI Preliminary Exam on 16 July 2017. The MPSC STI hall tickets will be made available to download on the official website seven days prior to the test.

A large number of candidates had applied for the above said posts. Now, the candidates are looking for the exam admit cards to appear in the written exam. In the first stage, the board will conduct the preliminary exam on 16 July 2017.

The candidates who secure the minimum required marks will appear in the Main exam. The main examination will be held in November 2017. The board will conduct the MPSC STI Main Exam on 07 Jan 2018.

After that, the board will hold the further stages of the recruitment process like Physical Test & Personal Interview etc. The candidates will be notified through a notification on the board’s website for the further schedule.

MPSC Sales Tax Inspector Exam Procedure & Selection Criteria:

• Preliminary Written Exam – 100 Marks
• Mains Written Exam – 200 Marks
• Physical Test – 100 Marks
• Personal Interview – 40 Marks

Preliminary Exam Scheme: Written exam will be objective type in nature having total 100 Marks. The exam will consist of 100 MCQ based on General Awareness. The time duration of the preliminary examination will be 01 Hours.

The exam will be available in both Hindi & Marathi Language. Candidates should get minimum passing marks for qualifying the written Exam. Selected candidates will be called for Mains Exam. The description of the exam will be given on MPSC Admit Card 2017.

As per the instructions, the board will upload the MP STI exam admit cards on its official website only. As the board said, No admit cards/ hall tickets will be sent through the postal services. The aspirants are advised to visit the website regularly for Exam details and hall tickets.

An admit card contains all the information about the candidate printed on it. The candidates must bring a valid print out of the exam hall ticket as the candidates without admit card will not be permitted to enter the examination center.

Also, the aspirants must bring a valid photo identity proof with them at the time of examination. A valid photo identity proof may be

• Pan Card
• Voter Identity Card
• Driving License
• Passport
• College Identity Card

Ration Card is not a valid photo identity proof for this purpose.

How to download the  MPSC STI Admit Card 2017?

• Visit the official website of the department i.e. www.mpsc.gov.in
• Then search for the suitable detail to download the MPSC STI admit card and . on it
• Enter the required details like your registration number and DOB and submit it.
• Now, your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Download it and take a valid print out for future use.
