The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) is initiating a recruitment for various Class-III posts. Applications are invited for various 1179 positions of Office Executive (745) & Junior Operator Cum Technical Assistant (434).

The examination conducted on 09 June has been cancelled due to unavoidable Corcumstances. The exam will be conducted afresh. New WBSECL Exam Date to be announced very soon.

The selection of candidates will be done on basis of written test and Computer proficiency test. The authority is expected to organize a written exam for these posts in June 2019. For the same, the authority will release the WBSEDCL Admit Card on the official website about 15 days prior to the exam date.

As per the information brochure, the authority will organize the written exam for the recruitment at various exam centres in Kolkata.

WBSEDCL Office Executive / Junior Operator Technician Cum Technical Assistant Exam Scheme

The board will conduct a written exam in the first phase. There will be an OMR sheet based exam having objective type questions on various subjects. After that, qualified candidates will be called up for Computer Efficiency Test will cover MS Office (i.e.MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point). The exam will carry a total of 150 marks.
