The West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the written examination for the Sub Inspector in Food Supply Department. The WB Government has already initiated the recruitment process and online applications from the eligible candidates have been submitted.
Now, the board is going to conduct the recruitment exam so they can select eligible candidates to be appointed as Sub Inspectors. To appear in the exam, the aspirants do need to get the WB Food Supply SI Admit Card.
The WB Food Supply SI Exam Date is yet to be announced though. Once the exam date is announced, we will publish an update here.
Update: The exam will be conducted on 27 January 2019.

As the application submission process has been completed, now the board will verify the validity of the applications. This process may take more time than usual as the board has received a large number of applications.
Once the validation process gets completed, the board will allow unique roll numbers to the applicants and prepare the exam schedule. Only after that, the SI Exam Date will be announced.
To get the WB Food Supply Admit Card, the candidates should visit the official website of the West Bengal PSC. as The Board has adopted the online system, it won’t be sending the WB Food Supply SI Admit Card by post.
The candidates must get the SI Admit Card in online mode.
While appearing in the examination, you must bring a Photo ID card (Govt Approved). If you don’t bring the Photo ID Card with the Admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Written Test: 100 marks.
The examination will consist of only one paper containing Multiple choice objective type questions on General Studies (50 marks) and Arithmetic (50 marks) and have 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.
Personality Test: 20 marks.
The selection of the candidates will be done on basis of written test and personality test. The written test will comprise 100 multiple choice questions carrying equal marks. While the personality test will consist of 20 marks. The exam will be based on General Studies (50 marks) and Arithmetic (50 marks). The time duration for the exam will be 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.
