The West Bengal Public Service Commission has announced the Clerkship Examination 2019. On the basis of the results of the Clerkship Exam, the recruitment will be conducted for the posts of lower division assistant or lower division clerk and posts similar to that of lower division assistant or lower division clerk in the Secretariat, Directorates, District offices and similar posts in regional offices (including Kolkata) under the rulemaking power of the Govt. of West Bengal.
WB Clerk Exam Date will be announced after the completion of Applications and verification of such applications. The WB Clerk exam will consist of two papers viz paper 1 an objective type and paper 2 conventional written type.

West Bengal PSC Clerk Exam Announcement & other details
The online applications for the clerkship exam are invited in the month of February and March 2019. This the board has decided to hold the examination first and then announce the recruitment for vacant posts. In this way, the board is looking to ascertain to choose the best candidates for the selection.
As the minimum educational qualification is only madhyamik, the board is expecting a large number of applications.
After the completion of the online applications, the board will validate the online applications and verify the fee. If the board finds discrepancies in the applications or fee, it will intimate such candidates and give a specific time to rectify the errors.
Only after that, the board will allocate the roll number and examination centers and upload the WB Clerk Admit Card on the official website.
The candidates do need to get the hall tickets online as the board won’t be sending the same by post.
The candidates also required to carry a valid Photo ID Card along with the online printed Hall Ticket.
If any candidate fails to produce any of the two documents, he/she won’t be allowed to enter the examination hall. Therefore, candidates should make sure of carrying both WB Clerkship Admit Card and ID Card to the examination Hall.
