Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Ltd (Milkfed) intends to have a joint selection procedure for assisting the various Milk Unions for appointing ‘Trainees’ against the Clerk cum Typist posts. The application registration process for the same is going to be over on 18/10/2017. The authority will commence a written test for the same in the month of November-December. The admit cards will be released 15 days prior to the exam date. A recruitment notification has been released on the official website for the recruitment of Clerk cum Typist in Verka Milk Plants in the state of Punjab. Applications were invited from candidates for filling up 100 vacant posts. The registration process for the same will close on 18/10/2017.

After that, the authority will conduct the written test for these post at various examination centres in Chandigarh and Mohali. To appear in the exam, the candidates need to download the admit cards. The admit cards will be released on the official website just 15 days prior to the exam date.

Verka Milk Plant Clerk Paper Scheme

Selection of the candidates will be done on basis of written test. The academic performance of the candidates securing minimum 60% Marks ( 55% Marks in case of reserved categories candidates) in the written test shall then be adjudged and a final merit list will be prepared.

A written test of all the applicants shall be conducted. The question papers will be objective type (100 marks) having 100 questions with multiple choices. Candidates will mark their answers on OMR sheet and each question will carry 1 mark. The question paper will be provided in English (except the Panjabi language proficiency part). The duration of the test shall be of two hours. The setup of question paper will be as under:

Maximum Marks: 100 marks

  1. Language Proficiency (Punjabi and English) – 15 marks
  2. General Awareness – 15 marks
  3. Mental Aptitude / Reasoning – 15 marks
  4. Computer Proficiency 15 marks
  5. Subject Area: 40 marks

Minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be 60% for General category candidates and 55% Marks in case of reserved categories. The marks obtained by the candidate in the written test shall then be adjudged on the weightage of 60.

The selected candidates may be posted/allocated in any Milk Union/Plant/Unit/Branch of the Milkfed in Punjab or outside Punjab.

Verka Admit Card – General Instructions

The candidates must follow the instructions given on the official website or at the Verka Clerk Admit Card. The candidates must bring a valid admit card print and a photo identity card (original & Photocopy) with them at the time of examination. The candidates without the valid documents will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
