UP Police Constable Written Examination Scheme – Paper Pattern
There will be an objective multiple choice type carrying total 300 marks. The exam will be based on the subjects like General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, Intellectual gain and Logical Ability.
There will be Negative marking in the written test. Level of the exam will be as per minimum educational standard. The minimum qualifying marks & cut off marks in the written exam will be decided by the recruitment board.

UP Police Constable PMT & Physical Test Schedule
The qualified candidates will appear for the Documents Verification. After that, the candidates will be called up for the Physical Measurements. The candidates having valid documents/certificates will only be allowed for the physical measurements.
After the completion of the Document Verification and PMT, the qualified candidates will appear for the Physical Endurance Test. The schedule of the Physical test will be announced later on the official website and in regional newspapers.
In Physical Endurance Test (Efficiency Test), the male candidates will have to run for 4.8 Kilometers in maximum 25 Minutes while female candidates will have to run 2.4 Kms in 14 Minutes. Taking more time than allocated to finish the race will eliminate them.
