UP Basic Education Board has declared the Assistant Teachers Result today. The recruitment was called in 2018 for the candidates holding B.Ed diploma/degree. As we know, the recruitment was called for filling up a total of 69000 vacancies. The candidates can check their UP Assistant Teacher Result on the official website of the board from tomorrow.
A total of 146060 candidates have qualified for the examination. Out of 431466 registered candidates, a total of 409530 attended the test. Of these, 146060 (35.66 percent) are succeeded. There are 36614 candidates from general categories, 84868 from OBC, while 24308 SC candidates and 270 candidates of ST category have passed.

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has published a recruitment notification for 69000 posts of Assistant Teachers (सहायक अध्यापक) Primary Schools in U.P. through its official website i.e. http://upbasiceduparishad.gov.in.
The candidates who have applied for this recruitment will undergo through the counselling process. The schedule will be released officially after the UP Assistant Teacher Result. A merit list will be drawn as per criteria given in the notification for counselling. The cut-off list will be uploaded by UP Basic Education Parishad to call candidates for counselling. Counselling Letter shall also be available with date schedule on its website.
UP 69000 Assistant Teachers Merit List & Counseling Schedule
As per the notification, there are 69000 vacant posts of assistant teachers (Primary level) in Uttar Pradesh. The State Basic Education Board will select the candidates on the basis of percentage scored by them at various educational levels such as 10th, 12th & Graduation etc.
Selection Process: The selection process is strictly based on the Merit List prepared by the authority of UP Basic Education Parishad. Based on Merit/ Cut Off of candidates, they will be called up for Counseling after the declaration of UP Assistant Teachers Result. Final Selection will be based on Merit Level of the candidate.
Merit List Preparation Process for BTC/ D.Ed Courses: Merit List will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s Performance in Academics. Merit List/ Cut Off may be varied according to District/ Zone/ Circle wise. The process of preparation of merit list will be as follows:
► Merit List will be prepared based on the basis of percentage of marks in various academics like High School, Intermediate & Graduation.
► Marks of Each Exam was taken to two points of Decimal for Merit List.

- Third Division: 03 Points

As per the instructions, the board will not conduct any written Test for primary teachers (Assistant) recruitment. The UP Assistant Teacher Result will be announced on the basis of the merit list. Candidates should read carefully the UP Teacher (Assistant) Recruitment carefully.
