The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the 2021 recruitment process on 2nd February 2021. The official notification carries all the important details regarding the exam date, eligibility conditions, syllabus, and paper pattern, result dates, etc., so if you are one of them who are interested in applying for the recruitment process, you have to visit the official website and go through the complete official notification.
The organization has set a basic criterion for the selection of candidates. These eligibility conditions are as follows.
To become eligible for the JRF posts, the contenders should not cross the age of 31 years. There is no age restriction for the post of assistant professor. All candidates can apply for the recruitment process. For the reserved category, five years of relaxation have been made available by the organization.
The candidates must have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in their post-graduation. For the reserved category candidates, there is a five percentage relaxation in education qualification percentage.

For the general category, the candidates must have to pay Rs—1000 as application fees. The OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 500 and the SC/ ST/ PWD and Transgender candidates will need to pay Rs. 250 as application fees.
In order to get selected, the candidates from the general category have to score 40% aggregate in both the papers. And all other category candidates should have to score 35% aggregate marks in both papers. Of all the candidates, only 6% of candidates are qualified for the assistant professor post, and 1% of the candidates who appeared in the exam will be qualified for the JRF post.
The result of the UGC NET December 2020 exam will be released in the month of June 2021. The candidates will be able to check the result by visiting the official website. Along with the UGC NET Result, the cut-off for the UGC NET result is also announced on the official website itself. The candidates should also take ideas to form the last year’s cut-offs to get an assumption about the current year’s cut-offs. The result of the UGC NET December 2020 exam will show the marks of the candidates that are obtained in the online examination.
