The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), Hyderabad released a notification on its official website inviting online applications from the eligible candidates for 1857 posts of Forest Beat Officer in Forest Department(EFS&T). The first date to apply online is 21 August 2017 and candidates may apply up to 12 September 2017. TSPSC FBO Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have below-mentioned qualification as to be eligible to apply for the Forest Beat Officer Online Application2017. We have provided a direct detail to apply for the recruitment candidates may apply from there after reading the instructions.

Educational Qualification: 

The candidate must have passed Intermediate or Examination from recognized boar d or university. The candidates who have NCC certificates will get bonus marks as according to the type of their certificate.

Physical Requirements: 

No candidate shall be eligible for the direct recruitment of the Forest Beat Officers posts if he has a height less than 163 cms and his chest should not be less than 84 cms round the chest when expanded and must have a chest expansion of not less than 5 cms.

1. In the case of female candidates, they should not have a height less than 150 cms and chest should not less than 79 cms and a Chest expansion of not less than 5 cms when expanded.
2. The candidates should possess the normal Eye sight apart from the Physical requirements written above.

Age Limit:

The Minimum age to apply online is 18 years & Maximum age is 31 years. The age shall be counted as on 01/07/2017. The age relaxation will be given to the eligible candidates according to the (Rule- 12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules).

Application Fee: 

Each & Every candidate has to pay a sum of 200/- (Two Hundred Rupees Only) as in the form of TSPSC FBO Recruitment Online Application Processing Fee. No candidate is exempted from this fee. Additionally, candidates have to pay 80/-(Eighty Rupees Only) as in the form examination fee. The candidates who belong to SC, ST & BC categories and are the resident of Telangana State are exempted from this fee.

Note: The fee is to be paid online through SBI ePay only. No other payment option available for the TSPSC Forest officer recruitment fee payment.

TSPSC Forest Beat Officer Recruitment 2017 Selection Process Details:

The candidates will be selected as per the criteria decided by the Telangana State Public Service Commission. The candidates will have to firstly appear for the written exam then after qualifying the written they will be called for the walking test and finally they will be called for the medical test. The candidate who gets the medically clear certificate from the medical exam board will be selected as the Forest Beat Officer in Telangana Forest Department.

(1) Written Examination:

The candidates will have to undergo a written examination for the Forest Beat Officer Recruitment 2017. The candidates who pass the written examination will be called for the next step of the recruitment. The written exam may be Computer Based or OMR Sheet Based it totally depends upon the consent of the examination board.

Note:- The minimum qualifying marks for Selection are OCs 40%, BCs 35% SCs and STs 30%. The minimum qualifying marks are relaxable in the case of SC/ST/BC at the discretion of the Commission.

(2) Walking Test:

This is the second step in the Telangana PSC FBO Recruitment 2017 process.The candidates who pass the written exam successfully will be called for the walking test. The walking test is qualifying in nature. The candidates have to complete the walking in the given time.

1. In the case of the Male candidates, a distance of 25 KM walking is to be completed in the duration of 4 hours.
2. In the case of Female candidates, a distance of 16 KM walking is to be completed in the duration of 4 hours.

Note:- The walking test is only a physical endurance test and it will not carry any marks as it is qualifying in nature. The marks of the walking test will not be counted in the final merit list of TSPSC Telangana Forest Beat Officer Recruitment 2017.

(3) Medical Test:

This is the final step in the TSPSC FBO Recruitment 2017. A Candidate must have an (a) Physical Requirements and (b) A Normal EYE SIGHT Certificate issued by the medical officer, not below the rank of Civil Assistant Surgeon which is required to be submitted to the commission at the time certificate evaluation.The candidates have to undergo a medical fitness examination conducted by the Medical Board.
