In January 2018, the CENTRAL RECRUITMENT & PROMOTION DEPARTMENT of State Bank of India has released a recruitment notification with Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2017-18/10 on its website. Applications were invited from eligible candidates for filling up 8301 posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in various branches of State Bank of India.

SBI Junior Associate (JA) Written Exam Date

Preliminary Test: The SBI recruitment authority will conduct the Preliminary Examination in March/April 2018 (tentatively). The exam date will be revealed very soon. The candidates will be able to get the SBI Junior Associate Call Letter for the same from 01.03.2018 onwards.

Main Examination: Candidates qualified for the Main Examination would be able to get their call letter from the Bank’s website from 26.04.2018 onwards (Tentatively).

SBI JA (Junior Associate) Written Examination Scheme – Paper Scheme

Phase – 1. Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination (online) consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies. subject to availability will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.

Phase – 2. The qualified candidates will appear in the Main Examination. The structure of the Main Examination (online objective type) will be as follows.

Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum percentage marks on aggregate will be decided by the bank. No minimum qualifying marks for the individual subject are prescribed.

Merit list will be drawn State-wise, category wise. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.

SBI Junior Associate Hall Ticket Details – General Instructions

The State Bank of India JA Admit Cards will be released on the official website 15 days prior to the exam date. The SBI JA call letter will consist of the information like candidate’s name, roll number, examination centre details and exam timings etc printed on it.

The candidates must get the SBI Junior Associate Call Letter online as No hard copy of the same will be sent through postal service. Also, check the admit card print properly. If any error exists, the candidates must contact the recruitment authority before the examination.

In addition, the candidates are instructed to bring a valid photo identity proof like aadhar card, voter identity card, driving license, school/college identity card with them while attending the examination. Ration Card and Pan Card are not valid identity proofs for this purpose.
