REET is also known as Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. Here is a good news for the candidates who were waiting for REET Notification. The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan has released a notification for REET 2017. The online application registration process will start from 6th November to 30th November 2017. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply through online mode from the official website i.e. http://rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/ respectively.
The REET 2017 official notification is given below. Applicants are advised to check the detailed notification carefully before the registration. As we know, the REET will be conducted to fill the 25000 posts of teachers but as per the information, the number of vacancies may be upto 40000.
The REET 2017-18 examination will be held on 11th February 2018 at various examination centres across the state. The exam will be conducted in two papers viz. Level 1 (Std. 1st – 5th) & Level 2 (Std. 5th – 8th).
Educational Qualification for both REET Level-I and Level-II are as following.
Application Fee: Applicants must check the detailed notification for fee details. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 550 for Paper 1 or Paper 2. If a candidate is participating in both papers i.e. Level 1 & Level 2 exam, the applicant has to pay Rs. 700.
The candidates must get 60% marks in REET to get qualified. The qualified candidates will get a REET Certificate with a validity of 3 years. The certificate can be used when a vacancy notification for teachers is released in the Government Schools and Aided Schools of the State.
As we know, the candidates must secure 60% marks in the exam to qualify. The paper syllabus and paper scheme is yet to be released. We will upload the REET 2017 Syllabus here on this page as and when it is published on the official website.
In the REET Examination, the question paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions having 150 marks (one mark each). The candidates will get 150 minutes to solve the question paper. The good news for the candidates is that there will be no negative marking in the examination.
