Rajasthan Education Board is going to conduct the REET exam after a gap of 2 years. It is expected that the REET exam date will be 2 August 2020 as per the news published in various sources. REET exam was conducted in 2016 and 2018 respectively. It is the third time that the Board will conduct REET in Rajasthan for the 3rd Grade Teachers Recruitment.
REET 2020 Online Application Date: It is Expected that the REET 2020 Online applications may start in November 2020. The Department is busy making all arrangments. Therefore, the REET 2020 notification for the same will be issued very soon. REET 2020 online form and notification will be available at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
About Reet 2020: Every Stated Education board needs to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test as per the NCTE Rules. The State Boards conduct the TET for up to Class 8 at least. Rajasthan Education Board has given this a name of REET (Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers)

National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has made it mandatory for all the state boards to conduct the Eligibility test under RTE 2009 Act. A state can recruit teachers only after conducting the Eligibility Test. Most of the states conduct the TET exam every year while Rajasthan Board has conducted the REET only twice.
This is the only third time that the Rajasthan Board will conduct the REET Exam in 2020.
Education Qualification for REET 2020
REET will be conducted in 2 different Papers. Paper 1 will be conducted for the eligibility of Class 1 to 5 while Paper 2 for Class 6 to 8.
- Paper 1 (Lower Primary): A candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent and possess a diploma in elementary education (D.ELED or JBT).
- Paper 2 (Upper Primary): A candidate must be a graduate and possess a bachelor’s degree (B.Ed)
