Ordnance Factory Board of India has invited online application for the 56th Batch Trade apprentice (ITI/ Non-ITI) from Jan 9 to Feb 9. This time, selection of the candidates will be based on academic records and a Factory wise Merit list get prepared. The OFB 56 Batch Trade Apprentice Result (6060 Posts) will be made announced on the board’s website very soon. The candidates can check the same through the direct detail given on this page.

Selection Method: Selection will be done on the basis of the merit list. The OFB merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI category. The merit list for NON-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of the overall percentage of marks in madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent), aggregate in all subjects and irrespective of Board. For NON-ITI category, a factory wise common merit list will be prepared and the trades will be allotted by each factory on a Meritcum-choice basis after selection.

The Merit List for Ex-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise and trade-wise, on the basis of simple average of the percentage of marks both in Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in aggregate in each). For the purpose of calculation of the percentage of matriculation, marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be taken to account and for calculation of the percentage of ITI marks, marks mentioned in provisional/final certificate will be taken.

Special Notes: The aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) shall be considered irrespective of Board / Exam System and shall be considered as per percentage formula of that Board / Exam System only.

Based on the vacancy position, select lists will be prepared and only provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification and medical examination.

OFB (Ordnance Factory Board) Merit List

The List of Non-ITI candidates will be prepared directly and published on the related Ordnance Factory’s website and on the official website as well. The Merit list for ITI candidates will be prepared according to the Factory they have opted and trade wise. ITI merit list will also be published in the same manner as the Non-ITI.

The candidates who get selected will have to go through a medical test. After successful document verification of the provisionally selected candidates, a medical examination will be conducted by the respective Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factory. Date, Time and Venue of Medical Examination will be communicated separately by the respective factory only. Candidates passed in medical examination will be considered for further process of TA engagement.

    Kripeya bataye ki pass no. Kitna hai..marksheet main qualify or not qualify kuchvi show nehi kar raha hai….bohot dikkat ho raha hai sir..
