The Government of India, Odisha Postal Circle has advertised a recruitment notification of 144 MTS vacancies in Postal Divisions, RMS Divisions, and Circle & Administrative offices under open market quota in Odisha Postal Circle. The Odisha Postal Department has released a recruitment notification with Advt. No. RE/30-13/2017(open market). According to which, online applications are invited from the eligible and keen candidates for filling up various posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in Odisha Postal Department.

Age Limit: As per the notification, applicant’s age should be as 18-25 years for General Category (Unreserved Applicants) as on the closing date for Online Registration of application. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PH+ Unreserved, 15 years for PH+SC/ ST, 13 years for PH+OBC category candidates admissible as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Matriculation or ITI from a recognized Board.
Pay Scale: The finalized candidates will be paid Rs.18000/- on level 1 of the pay matrix as per 7th CPC + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on merit basis in the written test & further recruitment processes.
Application Form Registration & Examination Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs. 100/- for all categories of applicants who have registered. Applicants are required to pay of Rs. 400/- for all male applicants in General and OBC categories. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes / Physically Impaired/ Women are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
Odisha Postal Office MTS General Instructions:
As the recruitment authority has notified, After successful registration, a provisional Unique Registration Number (URN) will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. The registration number shall be sent to the applicant to the given email ID and SMS to given Mobile Number in the application.
The Applicant has to use the registration number and DOB for log on into the website where he/she can generate the challan in triplicate to enable him to pay the fee. Applicant has to take out a printout of the system generated Fee Payment Challan. The Applicant has to retain this number and password for future references.
After successful registration of the On-Line Application, applicants are advised to keep a valid print out of the “PREVIEW” of his Application, the copy of fee challan, a receipt issued by the Post Office and Registration slip for any future reference.
