Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (K-TET) is scheduled to be held in August 2017. Government of Kerala General Education & Pareeksha Bhavan Kerala will conduct written examination for various categories on 12 & 19 August 2017. The notification for filling up applications for Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test was released in the First Week of July 2017. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria were asked to submit an application through online mode on the Pareeksha Bhavan’s website.

As per the notification, Separate test will be conducted to select teachers for Category I (Lower Primary classes), Category II (Upper Primary classes) Category III (High School classes) and Category IV ( for Language Teachers – Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to UP classes), Specialist Teachers (Art & Craft) and Physical Education teachers.
Kerala TET Admission Ticket Get
The K-TET exam admission tickets will be uploaded on the Pareeksha Bhavan’s website in the first week of August. The candidates will be able to Get the admit card/hall tickets from 01.08.2017 onwards. The aspirants are required to provide the required information like application registration number & date of birth/password.
The KTET Hall Tickets will be generated as per details given in the application only. So, candidates are advised to keep the application form print with them while Get the K-TET admit card. If any error exists, aspirants must contact the exam authority before the written test.
Kerala TET Examination Scheme & Paper Pattern
In order to finalize the selection of teachers, the Govt of Kerala and Pareeksha Bhavan Kerala will organize the eligibility test for four categories. The board will conduct the test having 150 Marks. The exam will consist of 150 multiple choice questions.
As per the instructions, Questions for Category I, II and IV (except for languages) will be bilingual i.e. both in Malayalam and English. Question for Category III will only be in English (except for languages). The candidates are advised to check the detailed notification for examination scheme and paper scheme for all the categories.
QUALIFYING MARKS: A person who scores 60% or more in the K-TET examination will be considered ‘KTET passed’ or ‘K-TET qualified’. This will be the qualifying marks for all categories.
Negative Marks: There shall be no negative marks for the test.
K-TET ADMIT CARD: The Admit Card for all eligible candidates will be available on the website of Pareeksha Bhavan from the date which will be announced later through notification in print and electronic media and in the website of Pareeksha Bhavan.
No candidate will be admitted to the examination centre unless he/she produces the valid Admit Card.
In addition, candidates must bring a valid photo identity proof while appearing in the examination. A photo identity proof can be Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Election Voter Card, Driving License, Passport etc. The candidates without admit card print and photo identity proof will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
