The commission has conducted the KPSC WRD AE JE Exam 2017 on various dates as per the exam schedule. The exam for the Kannada Language conducted on 08/09/2017, the Assistant Engineer Exam held on 09/09/2017 and for the Junior Engineer exam commission on 10/09/2017.
KPSC WRD AE JE Result Announcement Date
The commission’s exam authority will take some more than two months to announce the WRD AE JE result. As per the information received from the sources, the KPSC WRD AE JE result is likely to be announced in the month of November. The exact date is not revealed yet.

KAR WRD AE/JE Merit List & Cut Off Scores (Discussion)
The candidates will be selected on basis of their performance in the written test and further stages. Written examination result will be announced very soon. The candidates who secure the minimum required marks will be called for the further recruitment stages such as Personal Interview etc.
After that, the authority will announce the final cut off marks. The list of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of cut off marks. The board will upload the selection list on the website. The candidates will be able to get the KPSC WRD AE JE Merit List through the detail shared on this page also.

Sir M Vishweshwaraiah/Visvesvaraya was a great person. Many works for which we remember him even today was done by him when he was secretary and Diwan of Mysore kingdom, not as Engineer. Many people have misunderstanding about that he did all this work as Civil Engineer. But, actually it is not true.
Normally he was Civil engineer like everyone and worked as engineer in Bombay. After that he retired. He was normal person. He went to abroad. Later the Mysore Maharaja called him to Mysore and appointed him as secretary of Mysore. In present day, secretary posts is filled by IAS/KAS officers only.. In those days, no KAS and less IAS officers were there… Most of Sir MV’s work started here like KRS and all when he was Secretary. So, today if you want to become secretary you need to become IAS/KAS.
After Secretary, Sir M Vishweshwaraiah was appointed as Diwan of Mysore by Maharaja of Mysore. Diwan’s position and meaning is Prime minister. So, Sir MV was Prime Minister(Chief Minister) of Mysore in those days. Majority of work which we remember today, he did during his tenure as Diwan or Prime Minister(Chief Minister) of Mysore. Those days Diwan’s position was more powerful than today’s Prime Minister(Chief Minister). Today, some powers are taken away. So, in today’s world if you want to get that position of Prime Minister(Chief Minister), then you need to enter politics . If not, its not possible.
Today many former Chief Ministers of Karnataka are remembered for their great work. Same way, former Diwan (Prime Minister/Chief Minister) of Mysore, Sir MV is also remembered for his great work.

I had got information from wrd and MNP AEE s and higher officials through my friends WRD much better than MNP in promotion, dignity, administration, working style, honoured position . And in wrd we can work in free hand than MNP that’s y Prasannakumar preferred wrd. In wrd we will get holidays and leave’s when project will not be their

But promotion and transfers are difficult without politicians whichever department go….holidays and leaves same in all departments… you can take whenever you want…Prasannakumar did not preferred wrd. He was only answering question asked by a candidate.. One of the candidate asked Prasannakumar sir to publish 1:3 ratio list since same candidate has AE/JE Mahanagara palike/ADLR and WRD exams. He said Though they are selected for Mahanagara Palike, they may not opt to works there, most of them may join AE in WRD and added that since it is direct recruitment without interview, they would release 1:1 list only…
In Mnp you work in cities. You will be in constant touch with all people, all officials and important people. Respect and honour also more. Mnp also free hand in shaping the cities..
Compare to other wrd promotion are fast and it is technical scale in other until 20 yrs no promotion
Without political influence no promotion is easier in any department including wrd mnp lb. If you have it, it is simpler. Same problem in all dept.
In Adlr you are already getting 20-25 year bonus… In others after working 20-25 years and after with political influence and all you will get executive engineer. But here already direct posting to group A position in Adlr while joining. Adlr gazetted and even better scale later. Adlr is good than others.

If no, better once again see it, clearly mentioned it is C group. Onemore thing u said As a AE can upto Executive or Superintendent, here we get minimum of 2-3 Promotions in our life time. You can feel the engineer in you, right from day 1. In WRD, you may get just maintenance jobs as canals, dams and such need many years of maintenance once constructed.
Construction of many of those structures takes decades.
Wrd is better , as v can work at any places near to our home town no traffic no pollution , you interact with lot of village people you can visit major dams tunnels with out permission you can serve the nation like sir m vishweshwarya sir you will be real Engineer, you can serve for the betterment of farmers who r back bone of the country

Its difficult to work at any place of choice near to our home town without political backing. Many times you are transferred from one corner to another corner of state whatever dept you working. Wrd no exception. In Mnp also we interact with lot of city people. We can work for betterment of cities and infrastructure which are bridges of economy of the country .. we can work to build smart cities and proper design and plan for better places of living equal to international standard..

Cabinet approval does not take much time if it has gone through finance department. Cabinet can approve whenever they want after discussion.

So,
1:5 is ruled out. (If it was 1:5, then the list must have had names in multiples of 5. But, its not.)
1:2 is also ruled out. (If its 1:2, then the 3rd round list of AE mech must have had even number of names. But, the AE mech list had 3 names, which is odd. JE civil 3rd list has 15 names. This is also odd.)
So, the list might be either 1:1 or 1:3 ratio.

I think I was already answered this question in my earlier post ,see This Wrd department was carved out in 1994 from Pwd ,to look after major and medium irrigation project example Krishna upper bank , initially before 1994 all this work was look after by Pwd , hence candidates will prefer WRD more , after that MNp and Adlr .all the best
