The Karnataka Public Service Commission has completed a written test for 600 Assistant Engineer(Civil/ Mechanical) and 289 Junior Engineer(Civil/ Mechanical) posts in water resource department. The commission has conducted the KPSC WRD AE JE Exam 2017 on various dates as per the exam schedule. The exam for the Kannada Language conducted on 08/09/2017, the Assistant Engineer Exam held on  09/09/2017 and for the Junior Engineer exam commission on 10/09/2017.

KPSC WRD AE JE Result Announcement Date

The commission’s exam authority will take some more than two months to announce the WRD AE JE result. As per the information received from the sources, the KPSC WRD AE JE result is likely to be announced in the month of November. The exact date is not revealed yet.

KAR WRD AE/JE Merit List & Cut Off Scores (Discussion)

The candidates will be selected on basis of their performance in the written test and further stages. Written examination result will be announced very soon. The candidates who secure the minimum required marks will be called for the further recruitment stages such as Personal Interview etc.

After that, the authority will announce the final cut off marks. The list of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of cut off marks.   15. Hello friends, Just before 2 months KPSC Held an exam for 108 Junior engineer vacancies in Municipal.On the basis of that cutoff and number of vacancies u can assume yourself what will be the cut off of WRD JE. Now i am just giving the data of GENERAL MERIT.

        If you attended the municipal JE exam of KPSC recently held u would have known that,the cutoff of SC/WOMEN stands for 119 for 6 number of vacancies. this time number of vacancies are 7. you have a chance but all depends on your luck.

  28. Hello friends, we can expect WRD AE JE 2017 RESULTS in the month of October. Recently KPSC has announced the results of Gazetted probationary officers (prelims) within 1 month as its exam was held on 20-8-2017 and results are out on 21-9-2017.May be it is because of the upcoming election. SO, we can also hope the results of WRD AE JE soon.

  30. Guys,wait for the revised key answers.This is about Civil cutoff. There are nearly 6 to 8(including both papers) questions for which the given key answers are wrong and for some framing of question is wrong in both AE and JE. That will make plus or minus of 16 to 20 marks if they revised it.Who ever scored more than 155 in JE after the revised key answers can hope for the best with some luck with them and in AE who ever scored more than 115 after the revised key answers,it’s definitely a good score.

    To calculate your marks:

    = (no. of questions answered correct) – (no. of questions answered wrong x 0.5)

  50. Hi. My score is 173. Is there any chance for AE mechanical engineer. Cat 1 rural Kannada medium.
    Is it a good score. I don’t believe someone who scored 300….

    Congrats for all for scoring above 150 in the tough paper.

    I totally agree with pavan , many are between 150-180 .

    To be frank , No body can expect cut off , Its only prediction….

    Keeping the level of difficulty any thing above 175 is safe ……

    Let us see , revised are yet come….

    One request , please ask your friend circle and quote score which are deducted after 0.5 marks deduction.

    There r so many wrong answers given by KPSC for general and mechanical paper
    1.Dronacharya award – correct answer is Neither A nor B. Since this award is for outstanding coach and the cash prize of 5 lakhs.
    2.91st amendment s not related to anti defection law- no correct answers r given- for this should get grace marks
    3.Kailash satyarthi noble prize- awarded noble peace prize in 2014 not in 2016- The statement itself is wrong- Grace should be given.
    4.Aptitude problem- find the value of X – Correct answer is 5 not 9.
    5.Karnataka is 7th largest state in india not 6th. Reference Karnataka economics survey.
    These r all my observation.
    Guys pls check key answers once again and file a objection.

    In mechanical.
    Tensile stress in thin cylinder-
    Correct answer s both PD/2T AND PD/4T
    Grace should be given.

      1)Syllogism problem, 2 circles combined, 3rd one separate should be right
      2)Assam tea problem, both are right but B is not right explanation of A
      3)Meganopolis is largest among all, but given megacity
      4)9 Cards flipping problem, only A is right not B
      5)Law of Belting
      6)Detonation problem in mechanical
