KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details

The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.

In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.

The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.

KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get

The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.

Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.

KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores

The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.

The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

  19. I am speculating here… Take it for whatever it is worth….

    — I believe that there will be addition of 362 posts compensating for the cancellation
    from 2011 KAS selections.
    — If the additions are confirmed, then most probably age relaxation will be given to
    the 2011 KAS aspirants.

    As people have mentioned… decision from the government on this is crucial…..

    Within the next one month until the last date for filling online application… a decision has to be made for any additions (posts)/relaxation (age)…

    I think KPSC releasing the notification without final approval by the government (as per newspaper) forces the CM to make a decision on 2011 KAS selections within a month instead of postponing making the decision indefinitely..

    • Yes number of posts have to be increased….because of tough competition and high cutoffs in prelims many may get eliminated out of the race for mains. Attending mains is very importantly that we may be judged for the knowledge we possess…prelims may sometimes be a matter of luck..but mains is not like that….

    • KAS Notification released… For whatever it is worth…. highlights given below:

      – Group A — total 7 posts : DSP-3 (HK), CTO-2, 02 others… No AC..
      – Group B — total 99

      Total Posts — 106 as in news…

      – In the note they have mentioned about additional posts to be included if any..

      – Prelims date: 17 May 2020

      – No changes from the previous exam on Optional subject in Mains…

      Congrats donald on the information……..people can rely on you then…

      I am not feeling good about this notification…don’t know whether to write or not..

  45. Gk today monthly compilation, does it cover karnataka issues also?? And should we refer namma kpsc ca notes… are they good… I find newspaper notemaking tedious… but
    Since competition will be very high, so meticulous study is necessary… so I’m asking… is 6 months sufficient for beginner to finish syllabus… because in no time exam is gonna come… and the question I ask myself is will I be prepared… last time also this happened… so shed some light on time management as well…

      • Firstly I lost money because of Nayaka.. He is all fake. Nothing is there

        Court has rejected malicious claims
        1. Idea of doubt on constitutionally created Institution doesn’t find any space in judiciary for leave.
        2. Making grave allegations on process of examination and controller of examination is purely unacceptable, without any base.
        3. Anybody can get less marks in examination in consecutive years, whats so big funda on that, go study well for next attempt.
        4. giving 7 days notice is acceptable in digital era to rise objections.
        5. Don’t make up stories and waste court time
        6. if you think of pursuing further with this type of baseless allegations, its waste of time

        1. Few Nayakas want to politically encash the space of publicity and hard earned money of candidates… Its an fissured and emotional extortion .
        2. Allegations doesn’t have any base either strength, yes people can still burn cash and make pockets thicker to jana nayaka and company.

        Down the line, its we loose money and time. Thats all

        Put some logic, don’t let some nayakas to conduct open extortion, just because we lost in some emotional grounds.

        If there is something significant, yes things have taken shape.. Ma’am Satyavathi is Secretary, her way of working is fool proof for corruption..

    The notification include 109 posts plus 295 posts approx through corrigendum. Which ll be added before preliminary exam

  83. hardly 130+days to Upsc prelims . Motivate yourself and work towards it . Start with previous 10years papers , follow up with ncert revision and then the basic books . Repeat the cycle wit a set number of revisions and solving tests to work on your decision making capability …this will help even the Kpsc prelims and watever exams coming next .

    ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 17 : ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ -ಸಿ ವೃಂದದ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲಿದೆ. ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಲಿ ಇರುವ ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

    ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 1236 ಗ್ರೂಪ್-ಸಿ ವೃಂದದ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ ಕೊನೆಯ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ. ಸ್ಮರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

  87. hi everyone,i am back!! tried to update in afternoon,but i couldnt bcoz of website problem
    1.group c notification within 10 days
    2.regarding KAS new notification, we need to wait till january end . kpsc is pushing hard for 470 posts,but no approval from govt yet !! kpsc is not interested in 110 posts .lets hope for the best !so right now dont believe in rumours and plan your studies accordingly.situation is very difficult for kas aspirants as of now..lets not lose hopes .

  90. Ee website kathe mugithu final list done. No one can do anything thing now, when the corruption is legalised, you can’t do anything. Prepare well for next notifications and pray some sponsorship for interview.

    • Don’t hurt candidates by saying such harsh things.. there are lot of people who are genuine and belong to very low socio economic status..
      I’m the one who is one in that along with many of friends;
      My father is vegetable seller
      I have been preparing for civil services 5 years by now
      Given interviews and mains in UPSC
      2nd attempt in KPSC.

      if you have such things, it should be handled by right process.

      Just because few people who are eligible is out of list doesn’t mean list is corrupt. I was been rejected by UPSC 2 times, It doesn’t mean I could never make better administrator… it doesn’t even mean whoever made through in UPSC are able administrators

          • Get what? As u said it, there are also many people from low socio economic background who shud have been on the list. Because of few ‘post buyers’ they missed the life time chance to come out of poverty. What about them vegetable seller son.

            P.S: if u r vegetable seller son, surely they might have published article about u and ur achievement, please provide link so we can motivate many people.

      I’m working in Mumbai, I didn’t even travel to Karnataka from last 5 months, I have not gotten enough time to go to press to advertise myself and I don’t have anything to advertise on my economic background….
      If you didn’t make through, doesn’t mean seats are bought…

      Please drop your details, when I travel to Karnataka.. I would personally meet and take you to my home..

      Better don’t shit yourself more over this… roll up your sleeves and start slogging for next… Or may be you sound like one who has enough in backyard… try the same method, what you believe most of the candidates have done… It might work for you….. or even tried foul means already, not sure…

    when i told u all about shortage of funds,you all mocked at me. anyways,fact is that dont expect new notification (group c) till april-may. about 2015 batch,nothing is gonna happen for this batch,everyone know about malpractices that happened with this batch. Everything is safe 🙂
    about kas new notification,you can expect in october november
