KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details

The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.

In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.

The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.

KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get

The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.

Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.

KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores

The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.

The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

Dear Successful Candidates, Congratulations on ur success!!!.On behalf of all successful candidate, would like to humbly request those candidates who are not taking up the post for any reason such as ,if u are already in a higher post,or selected for UPSC,or if u have got same post again or any reason u don’t want to take the post you have received,kindly write a letter n give it to kpsc,so other candidates may get opportunity for your left out post,pls do this on humanitarian grounds,as it will be very helpful to others or it will just get added again as vacancy to later notifications… Thank you for ur understanding.??

    1.money power
    2.political support
    3.lobby
    4.caste
    5.strong background
    6.Everyone knows the extent of corruption in both still we can’t do anything, around 100 crores worth corruption for single notification.

    It’s better candidate could consider becoming representatives least we can have well learned members and ministers

Hello all don’t loose hopes , I honestly want to share this with guys tat I got group A service,my from got AC revenue and fren too AC, we all selected purely on basis of merit without paying single penny, this msg is for all those who think kpsc is corrupt , it may be corrupt but for ppl like me and other frens we scored well in mains ,so we might have for selected with minimum marks in interview, so pull up the socks and start preparing for next notification

    ‘ಪದವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ್ದ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್‌ ಐಚ್ಛಿಕ ವಿಷಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಬೇರೆ ವಿಷಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೆ ಭೂಗೋಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಎಂದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನೂ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ‘ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ’ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ‘ಪದವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ್ದ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್‌ ಐಚ್ಛಿಕ ವಿಷಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಬೇರೆ ವಿಷಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಿಗೆ ಭೂಗೋಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಎಂದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನೂ ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ‘ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ’ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

    ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗೆಂದು ದೆಹಲಿ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ಅವರು, ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿಯಿಂದ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಮರಳಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಓದಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಐಚ್ಛಿಕ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪದವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದದ ಭೂಗೋಳ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

So if we can start immediately after mains may be we will atleast know the status… and with minister suresh kumar in d govt we might get lucky this time????

  80. Mr Subodh Yavdav , who served as secretary of KPSC for last 5+ months in office has been trasferred by Karnataka Government. Considereing the positive developmental works done by him ,entire karnatka governemnt job aspirants and pro-acitve citizen forum wish him to continue as secretary for minimum of 2 years as per civil service rules. The transfer is ad-hoc and against the wishes of candidates.

    ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕ ಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದ ನೇಕಾರನ ಮಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ಖಾಸಬಾಗ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ ಕಾಂಬಳೆ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆಯಾಗಿ ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

    ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆಯಾದ 428 ಜನರ ಪೈಕಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ ಕಾಂಬಳೆ ಅತಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, 23ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಈಕೆಯ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ನೇಕಾರ ತಂದೆ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ ಕಾಂಬಳೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಯಿ ಸುವರ್ಣಾ ದಂಪತಿಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಮಗಳು ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ ಡಿವೈನ್‌ ಪ್ರಾವಿಡೆನ್ಸ್‌ ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟ್‌ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, 2012-14ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಓದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೈದ್ರಾಬಾದ್‌ನ ಉಸ್ಮಾನಿಯಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಶ್ರೀಚೈತನ್ಯ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ 2014-17ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಪದವಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪದವಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಸಿವಿಲ್‌ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ತಯಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು.

    ಸಹೋದರಿ ಅನುರಾಧಾ ಸಿವಿಲ್‌ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್‌, ಸಹೋದರ ಓಂಕಾರ ಎಂಬಿಎ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಮೃದುಲಾ 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೋಷಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ಸಾಧನೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದ ಸಾಧನೆ. ಯುಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಗುರಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

    ಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಫಲ: ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಹಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ ಅವರು ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾದರು. 2017ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆದು 2019ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಖೀಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆಯಾದರು. ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಸಿವಿಲ್‌ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಿ ಪಟ್ಟ ಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಈಗ ಫಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಡಾ| ರಾಜಕುಮಾರ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸ್ಕಾಲರ್‌ಶಿಪ್‌ ಗೂ ಅರ್ಹರಾದರು. ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 6-7 ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಕಾಲ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಕೆಪಿಎಸ್‌ಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಪಸ್ಸಾಗಿ ತಯಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.

    ಐಎಎಸ್‌ ಗುರಿ: ನಿತ್ಯ 10ರಿಂದ 12 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸತತ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಸಾಧನೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೇವಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಂಬಲ ಇತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಅದು ಒದಗಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಏನಾದರೂ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಕನಸು ಈಡೇರಿದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಐಎಎಸ್‌ ಪಾಸಾಗುವ ಗುರಿ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಉದಯವಾಣಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು

    7 candidates from Haveri district have cleared KPSC exams

    A total of seven candidates from Haveri district have cleared Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) exams, the results of which were declared.

    Pallavi Satenahalli of Haveri has been selected to the Assistant Commissioner’s post.

    Chandrashekhar S Gali of Araleshwar of Hangal taluk and Dadapir Husensab Mulla of Huralihal village of Haveri taluk have been selected to the Deputy Superintendent of Police posts.

    Chidanand Shivappa Billal of Medleri village of Ranebennur taluk has been selected as Commercial Tax Assistant Commissioner.

    Mallesh B Pujar of Kamanahalli of Hangal taluk will get tahsildar grade-2 post. Bhamini M Patil of Hamsabhavi of Hirekerur taluk and Bhuvaneshwari Patil of Sammasagi, Hangal taluk have been selected to the commercial tax officer posts.

    Pallavi’s success story

    Sharing her success story with DH, Pallavi Satenahalli who has been selected to the Assistant Commissioner’s post, said: “Writing skill is a key to success in KPSC exams. I used to write 50 to 80 pages regularly to improve my handwriting skills. It helped me to obtain the highest marks in the mains exam and to get the Assistant Commissioner’s post,” she stated.

    She said, her mother dreamt of seeing her as an officer. She had got many job offers from private companies after completing a technical course. However, to realise her mother’s dream, she wrote the KPSC exams and entered into the public sector instead of the corporate field.

    Pallavi completed primary and high school at Lions English Medium School in Haveri, PU education at P C Jabin Science College in Hubballi, BE at G M Institute of Technology in Davanagere and MTech at Bapuji Institute of Technology. Her father Kariyappa is a retired employee of Karnataka Co-operative Sugar Factory and mother Akkamahadevi is a high school teacher.

    Pallavi said, she had written KPSC exam in 2014, had passed prelims and unable to clear mains then. Later, she understood her mistakes and it helped her to prepare well for the exams.

    She got guidance from experts and achievers and she also took 8-month free coaching in Delhi after clearing a test conducted by Backward Classes Welfare Department in Bengaluru.

    She wants to help poor students and women who are in agony, she stated.

    Challenges

    Another candidate Dadapir Mulla of Huralihal near Guttal cleared the KPSC exams amidst several challenges in his life. He faced several difficulties while studying due to economic problems.

    Pallavi Satenahalli who cleared the KPSC exams said, Deccan Herald (DH) daily helped her a lot while preparing for the exams. She reads it regularly. Articles including Editorials in this newspaper are informative. It helps to score marks in the mains exam, she opined.

  97. I agree this is a shitty exam where luck, influence and money matter more than 50%…..

    Congratulations to a mighty few who have found their names in the list despite all odds in spite of corruption and influence… Hats Off to your patience and focus for more than 2 and half years…

    All state PSC’s in India are in a similar mess but KPSC is all the way in different league.. Inefficiency at lower rungs can be understood but inefficiency /corruption at higher levels ie KPSC board, Secretaries….etc is unpardonable, unethical and oppressive to lakhs of aspirants who dream of government jobs.

    My earnest appeal to KPSC is at least conduct the exams as per schedule…. give a schedule which you can follow (say 3 years for GPE from notification to final result) so that people who are interested can only apply or at least they know the waiting period…

    For other exams with only written test (FDA/SDA, group C. etc…) I don’t know why eligible candidates have to wait for 3-4 years….. I am not saying don’t indulge in corruption…. do it …it is your right!!!!!!!!!!!!!……. but at least complete the process in 6 months and give “mukthi” to candidates who are not selected….

    It is cruelty of the highest order committed by KPSC in the name of recruitment on the job aspirants. Students in the prime of their youth waiting for years with hopeful eyes…. this has to change……

    Some Suggestions to KPSC which are practical (for the present times) :

    1). If you want to do corruption??????…. indulge in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : At least complete the process from notification to results within 6 months…give a schedule in notification.
    2). Even after indulging in unfair means … I believe at least 10-20% of the posts will go to meritorious candidates…… (hopeful estimates….) we will learn to live with it…
    3).Indicate the documents required and the other requirements… in the notification itself so that provisional list and Final list can be published within few weeks to 2 months.
    4). Remove the interview for Gazetted Probationers also: The personality can be developed by the meritorious candidates who have cleared MAINS…. anyways personality cannot be judged by factual questions (from 2015 interview experience).

    Some Suggestions to KPSC which are ideal (This is a long shot…but anyways):

    I believe the rot is at the top…

    1) Appoint some dynamic and efficient officers as secretaries… (like Subodh Yadav, Manivannan…. or any other direct recruit IAS…..or people like NS Prasanna Kumar was also good)
    2) Appoint non political KPSC Board members as well as Chairperson ( I like
    Ratnaprabha Madam)
    3) Give them a mandate to completely revamp the recruitment system:
    —- A permanent staff for setting up question papers, they can also double down
    as trainers for newly recruited candidates.
    —- Corporate Style foundation course for newly recruited candidates.
    —– Security of question papers, answer scripts and data population…

    Above all my plea to the selected and would be government servants also to the candidates who join the government with or without influence and favour…. do remember this a service, and promise yourself to be problem solvers of the society…

  98. As far as filing case in KAT is concerned, the case will be thrown out during the first hearing itself if there is no reliable proof. One should have some documents which atleast gives rise to doubt… Its difficult to collect such docs as of now as KPSC has become less open now…

  99. There is no format for filing objection. Just write a normal letter mentioning the objection you have abt the list. That is all. And send the letter to KPSC via speed post or registered post so that you have an acknowledgement. Also it can be given personally at KPSC gate counter. He collects the letters and gives the acknowledgement slip.
