KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

Or else our batch also become 1998.99,01 batch.. so precaution should be taken in the internet of aspirants by keeping aside their political agenda, or else late aspirants will suffer like 98,99 batch aspirants and may lose their job in the future.

ಇವತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಆಯ್ತು ಫೈಲ್ create ಆಗಿ, ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನೆಟ್ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ತಗೊಂಡು 5 ದಿವಸ ಆಯ್ತು ಆದರೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿ kpsc ತಲುಪಿಲ್ಲ, ಹಾಗೂ ಕಳೆದ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಡತದ, sub ಫೈಲ್ ಸಹ create ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅದು ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲಿ create ಆಗಿದೆಯೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದೆ.

The entire process of
kas appointment is governed by Karnataka State Civil Service Act 1978 , Karnataka Recruitment of Gazetted Probationers Rules 1997 and Government Order dated 1994.
As per these Rules the selection process consist of five stages which is governed by Schedule ll of same rules:
First stage involve notification and conduct of preliminary exam.
Second stage involve mains exam. Here kpsc has to maintain two list one for reserved and other for unreserved category on the basis of marks obtained in preliminary exam. Those candidates who got their name in the list are called for mains exam.
Third stage involve personality test. Here also kpsc has to prepare two list one for reserved and other unreserved category on the basis of marks obtained in mains exam.
Fourth stage it involve preparation of two list on the basis of marks scored by candidates in interview one reserved category list and other unreserved category list.
Fifth stage is mode of appointment stage which is governed by Government Order dated 1994. As per the order kpsc has to prepare two list one that contain the names of meritorious candidates that is those candidates who scored highest marks in mains and interview and other list for reserved candidates.
On the basis of this kpsc prepare final list.
As these Rules are not followed by kpsc during 1998 1999 and 2004 recruitment process the High Court removed some of kas officer’s, some demoted to lower service while some got lower post through its judgement which was given by Justice M Nagaraj.
Again Supreme Court recently in it’s judgement that is Tina Dabi case ruled that those candidates who are opted for reservation at initial stage has to be carried till final stage that is why inspite of scoring highest marks she was recognized as SC topper.

State Cabinet has decided to maintain the status quo with regard to reservation in direct recruitments by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).
Briefing presspersons on the decisions taken by the State Cabinet, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Krishna Byre Gowda said a decision was taken to continue the earlier policy (2006) which allowed meritorious candidates from the reserved category to be appointed under general merit category.
A recent Government Order had limited meritorious candidates from reserved category to be recruited in general category and this had evoked a strong protest from Minister Priyank Kharge and other leaders. Mr. Kharge had shot off a letter to Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy stating that 50% of government jobs would be the limit for 93% of the population that is eligible to qualify under direct reservation if the order was to be implemented.
Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had also assured a delegation of SC/ST employees that the issue would be raised in the next coordination meeting of the coalition.

Honourable Supreme Court diluted n brought changes to SC ST Prevention of Atrocities Act,,But the government brought ordinance n later legislation to nullify Supreme Court Judgement,,So nothing is supreme or final in this country,,Both Judiciary n Legislative have several options within the Constitutional framework,,,No need to worry….As far as Kumar judgement is considered,it came in 2016 n later it was questioned in SC n SC verdict came in September 2018..But the government is filing review petition,so the question of contempt does not arise…..those who feel aggrieved( both parties) can approach Court of law….Court is open for all n meanwhile legislative is also equally empowered…this tussle between judiciary n legislative has no end…We need to learn the art of living with it…
