KPSC KAS Preliminary Exam Result & Cutoff Score details
The Karnataka Public Service Service has successfully completed a preliminary examination for Gazetted Probationers in the State Administrative Services (KAS) on 20 August 2017. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will announce the result for this exam. The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (GP) Result is likely to be declared within two or three months. The candidates can check the KAS GP Result by using the Login ID (Application No.) and Password (Date of Birth) on the official website.
In 2015, a recruitment for 401 posts of KAS Gazetted Probationers in various departments of the Karnataka State. Applications were invited from the eligible candidates for these posts. As per the organizational information, A large number of candidates shown interest in this recruitment. A massive number of applications were received. The authority conducts a written examination (Prelims) for the registered candidates on 20.08.2017 respectively.

The KAS Gazetted Probationers Preliminary Exam took place on 20/08/2017. A massive number of candidates appeared in the examination. The candidates who have been a part of the test are eagerly waiting for the result for the same.
The KAS recruitment authority will announce the KPSC Preliminary Exam result as soon as possible. The result is likely to be declared in the third week of October. The candidates will be able to check the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result by using the application registration number and date of birth.
KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result get
The Commission releases KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in online or offline mode. In case, if the results are released in online mode, the applicants have to visit the official website and enter their login credentials such as Registration No. and Date of Birth. After entering these details, the detail will generate your result on the desktop screen. Now you can check your KPSC Gazetted Probationers results and can also get the provisional result sheet for future reference.
Whereas, to check the KPSC Result KAS Prelims Result 2017 through offline mode, the candidates have to get the result in pdf file from the official website. In the offline, the Commission will upload the KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result 2017 in Pdf format. In which all the qualified candidate’s Registration No. and Name is provided. The candidates can use Ctrl+F in order to search their Registration No. to check the result. The Commission will upload mark sheet on the official website after declaring the KPSC Administrative Services Exam Result 2017. The candidates can get the result sheet for the provisional use.
KPSC Gazetted Probationers Cut Off Scores
The Preliminary Examination had two papers with each carrying 200 Marks. The applicants need to score minimum qualifying marks in each paper to qualify. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination are eligible to appear in the mains exam. The Commission will announce the mains exam date, a few days after the declaration of KPSC KAS Prelims Exam Result 2017.
The recruitment authority will finalize the cut-off marks on the basis of difficulty of the exam, the number of applications received vs the number of vacancies and number of appeared candidates. A notification regarding category-wise cut-off marks will be published on the official web portal. The candidates will be intimated on their registered email id and mobile number also.

- Find the detail named KPSC Gazetted Probationers (Prelims) Result

- Check the filled information and . on the proceed button
- The KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers Result will be shown on your desktop screen
- get it and take a valid print out for provisional use

Guys don’t mind plz, again you guys are telling your opinions, I’m asking particularly law department feedback, if any body knows kindly share here.
And I have two doubts if court orders can’t applicable retrospective then
1) how come they are implemented to 1998-99 batch.
2) if kpsc follows old procedure doesn’t it become contempt of Court, it leads to litigation right?

I think law department would have said to maintain status quo as followed by all states, beacause if they implement new rules it will affect 1998,99,2004,2014 batch,as of now many serving officer inspite of supreme court order are in same services so I think they may not follow new rules and follow same proceedure, recently FDA selected students met secretary jus one day before FDA final to request for list, secretary said kAS mains results top priority and once we get opinion results will be out, so can anyone tell where is the file now? If it is reaching Kpsc this coming week we can expect results by Nov 9

They will follow old procedure,since this new “thing” was not their in the notification, the new procedure will be followed from next notification onwards.After the file reaching kpsc it takes 3-4 days for tabulation/manual cross verification, so results can be released this Friday,but seeing our boy KB efficiency, realistic date for result is 16-19nov. Otherwise, if they intend to change, then Gazette notification has to be done. So will take a week atleast to do that. Then file has to come to Kpsc.

Don’t bothered about reservation, amendment, Tina dabi case etc etc kpsc will follow old procedure it’s just delay tactics by vested intrestes from SHAKTI soudha, result will be announced on November last week or December 1st week, if present member becomes chairman then interview starts from 3rd week of December, if govt proposes other than member then it depends on governors approval…..
In this forum many are saying if kpsc follows old procedure they will move court, if they really approached court, interview can not be conducted until court gives final decision, so plan your future according to this.

I have few doubt why KPSC has not taken prior legal opinion before releasing prelims cutoff? Is this SC judgement aoplicable to KAS or all requirements?

Yes. If GM KMS cutoff is 190, and GM is 188.. what if a Candidate who has got 189 marks and applied under GM plus KMS .
He Will not qualify prelims right .
Rather if he had applied only under GM, and shed his KMS reservation, he would have qualified prelims.. is it correct?
This horizontal reservation is confusing. For GM KMS, THEY consider only Candidates who APPLIED under GM KMS.
Let me explain in simple terms.
If the cut off in prelims are like below; (example)
GM KMS – 190
GM – 188
3B KMS – 185
3B – 183
(if upsc reservation pattern is followed in Kpsc then)
If u have secured 186 and get selected for mains in 3B KMS. Then you are eligible for posts in 3B KMS and 3B only. Not first two.
So check your prelims marks. Check the cut off. You will understand which all posts in horizontal reservation you are eligible in.
Is this process applicable for hydrabad karnataka ?am asking because it’s constitution gave special status in reservation

if you cleared Prelims in GM, then your eligible to get GM/3b posts. (If you claimed reservation while applying).
If you cleared prelims in category then your not eligible for GM post, it’s based on upsc rules.
If kpsc announces list by following old procedure, our friends with the support of NGO (1998,99 batch fighters guiding us) will approach court and will asks stay order for interview until it decided by Court.
As of now we are getting news that DPAR interested in amending the rules, let’s hope for best.

Am sry to say ,but there s absolutely no logic in watever u r saying …it cannot be retrospective until and unless specifically mentioned!
Judgement regarding reservation can’t be applied now because of technical reasons.
1. If kpsc follows reservation judgement then 2014 list to be done again following this judgement. Whether possible or not possible again matter to be decided in court. People will definitely approach court.
2. If kpsc applies the judgement now for GP 2015 it means that the government has accepted the judgement ..This will affect 1998 1999 2004 recruiting as the judgement is related to those batches, many will lose jobs in those batches. They are planning to go for review so less chance that they will implement this judgement now…If Government gives green signal to implement it then Government should first implement this to 1998 1999 2004 batches also. So they can’t take that risk now. Again matter legal thimg will wait and watch…

2014 mains results was announced in 2016. Interview was done in 2017.
So by the time tina dabi case surfaced mains results was announced.
So the SC verdict wont apply to that batch.
Correct me if i am wrong.
1998,99 batch also reshuffled due to following this kinda errir, contact Khalil sir a true fighter who is still fighting for 98 batch, now he is working in health Dept, he will provide right information.. it also applicable for 2014 batch if victim approaches court he can get justice.

Kindly note that if dpar gives green signal for amendment to 1997 rules, then no need of passing it in SESSION bcoz it’s 1997 RULES not ACT, it can be get approval in CABINET MEETING.
If it was act then it should passed in session..
If new rules applied for 2015 batch, then it going to reshuffle or new list in 2014 batch too… Then 2014 selected candidates will go court, and even who missed 2014 interview list by few marks they also approach court…
Kpsc can’t conduct one recruitment, it’s better handovering recruitment to UPSC.
Culprits, corrupts whose name in malpractice doing in exams wants to become chairman and members etc then how can constitutional body works in fair transparent way??

Why is it taking so long for KPSC to declare GPE Mains exam result which was held in December 2017?
Answered by Bolaji Patil CTO, 2014 batch.
The saga of KPSC is such that in 1 notification cycle of kPSC(prelims-mains-interview-results-appointment ) u can easily give 3 UPSC attempts, well leaving that aside, the speculation in delaying the results of KPSC mains exams is due to the issue of implementing reservation policy followed by UPSC in all the 3 stages of examination.
Basically in UPSC, if you qualify prelims under OBC category then you will be under the same category in all the subsequent stages of examination .(for example even if you secure more marks than a G.M candidate in Mains ,u will have to compete under OBC itself).
So far this approach was not followed in KPSC,the rumours are that KPSC wants to follow the footsteps of UPSC, HENCE the delay in getting administrative approval.
It will take atleast one more year until this batch gets posting. You can easily give next year UPSC Mains,so pls Plan accordingly.

If govt reservation amendment pass madidre (upsc already following this rules), ನೀವು prlims ನ GM ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಸ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೆ your eligible to get seat GM and other reservation what you have claimed.
If you guys are cleared prelims in any category then your not eligible to get postings in GM category even though you got first rank final list ex- Tina dabi
So @kannada if you cleared prelims in GM w quota, then your eligible to get all reservation whichever you claimed.
This reservation system not confirmed, wait for AG opinion, looks like AG will recommend to follow old procedure, but if they follow old procedure some one will approach KAT/HC with supreme court orders

So as per upsc reservation pattern they must be eligible only for GM w no!!
