Kolkata Police Constable / Lady Constable Admit Card for constable recruitment 2015 are now available to download at www.kprb.kolkatapolice.gov.in web portal. Candidates who had applied for these vacancies can download their KPRB Constable admit card now.

As we know, recruitment notification for 1167 vacant posts of Police Constables in Kolkata Police department was advertised Kolkata Police Recruitment Board through Advertisement Number 02/2015/KPRB. Now, the board is on the way to conduct the written examination for the same.

Update: The Written Examination for the post of Constables/ Lady Constables which was scheduled to be held on 09.04.2017 will now be held on 16.04.2017 from 12.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs.

Kolkata Police Constable Selection Process:

1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
3. Written Examination.
4. Personal Interview.
5. Medical Test.
6. Verification of Documents and Character.
7. Training for almost 6 months.>

The PMT/ PET have already been conducted by KPRB for Police Constable posts. Now, the board is on the way to conduct the written exam. The e-admit card can be printed out through the official website of Kolkata Police department.

KPRB Constable paper pattern

The Written Exam will consist of objective type questions about the Current Affairs, General Knowledge, General English, Elementary Maths, and Analytical Aptitude. The structure of the question papers shall be Multiple Choice type.

The Written Test for KPRB Constable carries 90 Marks. The maximum allotted time to complete the paper is 60 minutes. There is a provision of negative marking against the incorrect answers.

Kolkata Police Constables Interview will be conducted for 10 Marks only. The final selection of the aspirants will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the written exam and the interview.
