The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET-2019) has been completed successfully by the Karnataka Examination Authority on 29 & 30 April 2019 across the state. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority. KCET is a state level entrance exam which is also known as Kar CET. Through this exam, the candidates will get admission in Architecture, Engineering, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Pharmacy professional degree courses.
KCET entrance exam will be conducted on 29 April (Biology & Mathematics) and 30 April (Physics & Chemistry) through offline mode (pen paper). The provisional answer key will be released by the KEA after one or two days of the examination date.
As per the information, KCET result 2019 will be declared in the last week of May through online mode. Candidates will be able to check their ranks on the official website. The document verification process will be started from the second week of June 2019.
KCET merit list will be published only for the candidates those who qualify the exam. The merit list will be prepared after releasing of the KCET Key Answer. The merit list will contain the ranks of the candidates in higher to lower order in the merit list. On the basis of allotted ranks, candidates will be offered admission in their respective courses. To check the ranks, candidates have to enter their CET application number. Candidates can also check their spot ranks from the website. The spot ranks will be published for the candidates whose results will be withheld for some reason. In that case, candidates have to submit their previous qualifying exam (12th) marks. The ranks will be assigned according to the merit prepared by the KEA. On the basis of candidate’s rank, the seats will be allotted to the participating institutions.
