In the month of July-August 2017, the Food Corporation of India has released a recruitment notification for Watchmen. Applications were invited from candidates of Karnataka State. A massive number of eligible candidates shown interest for the above said posts.

Selection Procedure
Written Test: In the TIER-1, the recruitment authority will conduct one paper of 100 Multiple Choice Questions consisting of 4 sections viz. Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language and Current Affairs. The time duration for the examination will be 120 Minutes. The Question paper for written test will be Trilingual i.e., English, Hindi and
Kannada, except for the English Language.
In TIER-2: The Physical Endurance Test will be held. This test will be of qualifying nature only which consists of a basic Physical Standards Test and the event as detailed below. The standards for PET are different for Male and Female candidates.

The final merit will be decided on the basis of Written Test subject to qualifying the Physical Endurance Test (PET). Only those candidates who are qualified in the Physical Endurance Test will be considered for final selection.
