The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JSSC ) will hold a written examination for 3019 Police Sub Inspector posts in Jharkhand Police Department in August & September 2017. The answer key for the written examination for these posts will be released by the examination authority on its authorized website within two days of completion of the examination. The recruitment board has invited online applications for the above-said posts in Jharkhand Police Department in July-August 2017. As per the instructions, there shall be four stages in the recruitment. The candidates will be selected on basis of their qualification from the first round.

The recruitment board will select the candidates on basis of their performance in the various recruitment stages. The JSSC recruitment board will hold the four recruitment stages. The candidate will appear in the second stage if he qualifies in the first stage. The four stages in the JSSC Police Sub Inspector recruitment process will be:
The JSSC Police SI Preliminary Test and Main Examination will be computer based (CBT). The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Test will appear in the Main Examination.
After that, the recruitment authority will organize the Physical Endurance Test and Medical Test. The candidates are advised to check the recruitment notification for Physical Eligibility and further information.
The JSSC examination authority will release the answer key according to the question paper booklet series Set A, B, C, D. The candidates will be able to get the answer key in a pdf file format. The file will contain answers for all paper sets. Aspirants must get the complete pdf file in order to get their respective question paper set answer key.
In the first phase, the authority will publish the JSSC Police SI provisional answer key. After that, final answer key will be released. The authority will ask for the objections against the wrong answers in the provisional key. A format will be made available on the official website on which the postulates can challenge the wrong answers in the provisional answer key.
In addition, in order to make an objection against wrong answers, the postulates must possess a valid documentary proof of correct answer. Also, a copy of proof should be attached while making an objection.
