The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct an online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection of personnel in Specialist Officers’ cadre posts in the Participating Organisations in December 2017/ January 2018. The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection of personnel for Specialist Officers (Scale-1) in the Participating Organisations is scheduled in December 2017 & January 2018.
The IBPS SO (Scale-1) Online Preliminary Exam will be held on 30 & 31 December 2017 while the Main Examination will be held on 28 January 2018 (Sunday).
For IBPS SO Preliminary Exam, the eligible candidates will be able to Get the admit cards from the second week of November 2017 while the Main Exam Admit Cards will be released in January 2018. The candidates who qualify in the IBPS Specialist Officers Preliminary Exam will be able to Get the Main Exam Call Letter.

1.Preliminary Examination
For the post of Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum required marks. An adequate number of candidates in each category will be shortlisted as decided by IBPS depending upon the requirements for the Main Examination.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Preliminary and Main Examination)
As per the IBPS rules, there will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Tests. For each wrong answered question, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate in the exam, there will be no penalty for that question.
IBPS Specialist Officers’ (CRP SPL-VII) Call Letter – General Instructions
The IBPS SO Admit Cards will be released on the website 10 days prior to the online exam date. The examination centre, venue address, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examinations shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter.
The eligible candidate should Get his/her call letter from the authorized IBPS website www.ibps.in by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. As per the notice, No hard copy of the call letter will be sent by post/ courier.
Note:- Candidates must bring a valid photo-identity proof (original & photocopy) bearing the same name as it appears on the online submitted application form etc at the time of examinations (Preliminary & Main).
