The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the recruitment of Security Assistant in Intelligence Bureau. Recruitment is being conducted for 1054 vacant posts of Security Assistant.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of 3 Tiers Exams. The candidates will have to go through 3 different exams as follow.
- Tier 1: Objective type OMR Based Test
- Tier 2: Descriptive Test
- Tier 3: Personality Test
The IB Security Assistant TIER-1 Exam has been organized on 17-02-2019. The IB Security Assistant Answer Key for TIER-1 Exam can be checked on the website. The authority will release the schedule for further phases like Tier-2 & Tier-3 Exam very soon.
Tier 1 Objective Type Exam:
In tier 1, the applicants will sit in OMR Based exam. The Question paper will contain 100 questions. Each question will have 4 options and candidates will select the correct answer from those options. Total time to solve 100 questions will be 2 Hours (120 Minutes). As we know, the recruitment is for class 10 passed applicants, the level of the examination will be the same. The Paper pattern of the OMR Based test is as follow
- Number of Questions: 100
- Total Time: 2 Hours
- Subjects: (General Awareness- 40 Questions, Quantitative Aptitude- 20 Questions, Reasoning- 20 Questions, English- 20 Questions)
Tier 2 Descriptive Exam:
The tier 2 exam will be conducted soon after the Tier 1 exam in the very next shift. This test will be a descriptive test and candidates will be doing Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/dialect to English and vice versa.
Tier 3 Personality Test:
This is a personality test where candidates’ English speaking ability and other abilities will be tested along with the scrutiny of the documents.
To appear in the Examination, the applicants will need to get the IB Security Assistant Admit Card. The recruitment board will upload the IB SA Admit Card on the official website. The candidates are required to get the same in due time.
Update: The online application process has been completed by the department. The board is now scrutinizing the applications. Only the valid applications will get a nod to appear in the first stage examination for the Security Assistant Recruitment. Examination Schedule for Security Assistant will be published very soon.

IB Security Assistant Exam Date and Admit Card get detail
The IB Security Assistant Exam Date is not announced yet. The board will review the online applications and release the exam schedule upon validation of the Applications.
The board will scrutinize the online application. If an application is found to be incomplete then it will be termed as an invalid application and get rejected. The candidates with the valid application will be called up for the tier exam. After preparing the examination centres and completing all arrangements, the board will announce the exam date.
Then IB Security Assistant Admit Card will be available to get accordingly.
Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant / Executive Exam Scheme for TIER-2 Exam
Tier-II examination will be of qualifying nature. Candidates would be required to obtain minimum 20/50 marks so that their marks in Tier-III could be taken into account for preparing final merit list on the basis of combined performance in Tier-I & Tier-III exam. The cut-off in Tier-II is same for candidates of all categories. There is no cut-off for Tier-III exam.
The date, time & centre of Tier-II & Tier-III would be intimated to the successful candidates through E-mail given by them in online application.
IB Security Assistant Admit Card 2018: General Instruction
First of all, one should know what is an Admit Card actually. Those candidates who are participating in any recruitment exam might not be aware of the Admit Card. IB Security Assistant Admit Card is a hall ticket which allows you to enter the examination hall. Each candidate will get a unique Admit Card or Hall ticket. IB Security Assistant Admit Card will contain very important instructions of the examination. Such are as follow.

Furthermore, Along with the IB SA Admit Card/ IB Security Assistant Admit Card, the candidates must bring a valid photo ID card.
