The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, Dharamshala (Kangra) is commencing Teachers Eligibility Test. As the registration process is over, now the board is planning to hold the written examination. As per the official notification, a tentative schedule for HPTET written exam 2020 has been released. Update:- The Himachal Pradesh Education Board has scheduled the HP JBT & Shastri TET on 26/07/2020 at various 91 examination centres. But due to COVID19 pandemic the exam has been postponed. The board will announce the new exam date on the same website soon.

The HP TET (Teachers Eligibility Test) is necessary for the candidates who opt teaching job in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The TET is organized by the hpbose.org organization every year. The candidates who qualify works as a teacher in various Govt. Schools across the state.

To be eligible for TET selection, the candidates are required to be educationally qualified i.e. Graduation and B.Ed for TGT Posts and Diploma in Primary education for the PRT Post. This is just a Qualifying Test with 150 Questions having 150 Marks. Also, the Qualifying Marks for HP TET is just 60% making 90 Marks out of total 150.

HP TET 2020 – Examination Schedule | Exam Date & Timings

 

As per the schedule shown in the above figure, the HP Education Board will start commencing the HP TET examination on 26 July. Each day, the board will conduct a written examination in two sessions.

In the morning session, the exam timing shall be 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM while in the evening shift, the exam will be held from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM respectively. The candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre from 09:00 AM on the exam date.

HP TET 2020 Admit Card Get | Important Instructions

The candidates will be able to Get the HP TET admit card/exam admission ticket 5 days prior to the exam date. The admit cards will be uploaded on the official website i.e. hpbose.org. The postulates will be able to Get the HP TET admit card by using the application registration number and date of birth/password. So, the candidates are advised to keep the application form with them while Get the HP TET admit card.

The candidates are instructed to bring a duly attested valid photo identity proof (original and photocopy) with them at the time of examination. The candidates without admit card print and photo identity proof will not be permitted to enter the examination centre.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE ADMIT CARD IS NOT FOUND ON WEBSITE:

• The scheduled date of examination, he/she should inform the Board’s Office with the record of submission of the online application form.
• Somehow, if a candidate fails to be in possession of Admit Card before the commencement of the examination, he/she should meet the Centre Superintendent at-least one hour before the commencement of the examination at the centre with a print out of the computer-generated online last CONFIRMATION PAGE.

Admit card contains all valid information about the candidate like name, date of birth, photograph, signature, examination centre and exam timing etc on it as provided by the candidate during application registration.
