The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is initiating a recruitment for posts of Constables and Sub-Inspector posts in the State Police Department. Applications are invited for filling up 6400 Posts (6000 Constables & 400 Sub Inspectors). The commission is expected to organize a written test for these posts in the month of August. For the same, the authority will release the Haryana Police Admit Card on the official website about 7 days prior to the exam date.

Note: Exams in Haryana have been suspended due to Covid19 Pandemic. A whole new Schedule will be released very soon by the HSSC and Haryana Government.

Haryana Police Constable Written Exam Syllabus, Pattern 2018

• The Constable Knowledge Test will be conducted for 80 Marks.
• There will be multiple choice questions only with the inclusion of the negative marking.
• For each wrong answer, 0.20 mark will be deducted so don’t answer the questions blindly until you’re damn sure.
• The duration of the Knowledge Test (ज्ञान परीक्षा) will be 90 Minutes.
• Each question carries 0.80 Marks. There will be 100 questions in this test.
• The syllabus includes the questions from General Studies, Reasoning, Current Affairs, General Science, Numerical Ability, Aptitude, Agriculture etc.
• The level of the paper will be equal to class 12th.

In order to appear in the written test and physical test, the candidates must bring Haryana Police Admit Card duly attested by a gazetted officer. The details will be available on the admit card print.

Haryana Police Admit Card – General Instructions

The Haryana Police Constable Admit Card will be released on the official website 7 days before the exam commencement date. The admit card will contain the candidate’s name, application registration number, photograph, signature, examination centre detail, exam timings etc printed on it.

Aspirants are advised to check details on the admit card properly. If any error exists, candidates can contact the authority before the examination.

In addition, the candidates must bring the Aadhar Card (original/photocopy) with them. Candidates without admit card print and Aadhar card will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
