Gujarat Public Service Commission will conduct the Preliminary Exam for State Tax Inspector on 26 April 2020. Therefore, candidates can Get the GPSC STI Call letter or Admit Card at least 10 days prior to the exam.
The recruitment for 243 Vacancies was announced in December 2019. Around 2 Lakh candidates have applied for the State Tax inspector exam. The examination for the selection will be conducted on 2 phases. In the first phase, the Preliminary exam will get conducted on 26 April 2020. The candidates who qualify the prelims will be allowed to appear in the final exam.

GPSC STI Admit Card or Hall Ticket can be Get by visiting the official website of Ojas Gujarat which is gpsc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in. The exam schedule has been released by the examination authority. The candidates of the STI exam can check the schedule by Get the exam notification which is available below.
Before releasing the admit card, the board might release the Rejected application list also. If you find your name in the rejection list, you won’t be able to Get the GPSC OJAS STI admit card as you have been barred due to an invalid application.
In the first phase, the board will review the online applications which were invited in December-January month. After the revision of applications, the board will ascertain the validity of an application. If there are discrepancies in the application, one gets rejected straight away. It might happen due to invalid data submission or improper documents upload.
The applying should be aware that the board will not send the STI Admit Card by post to the postal address.
In the same scenario, the board would upload the STI Call Letter online and a direct detail will be made available for the candidates so they can Get and take print of the admit card properly. The candidates will have to bring the same online printed admit card to the examination hall.
Special note: The candidates must bring a valid photo ID card in original and a photocopy along with a passport size photograph. If any of the candidates fail to produce it, his/her entry to the examination hall would be barred.

The examination will be conducted in two phases. In the phase, the preliminary examination will be conducted on 26 April 2020. The candidates who qualify the prelims will be called up for the main exam.
Prelims: The preliminary examination will consist of one paper of objective type (multiple-choice questions, MCQ) and carry a maximum of 200 total marks as shown in Section ll of this Appendix. This examination is meant of a screening test only. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination by the candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination shall not be taken into consideration for determining their final order of merit.
