Food Corporation of India Tamil Nadu Region will hold the written examination for watchman posts. The Watchman examination is scheduled to take place on 24 September 2017. Although, the exam was supposed to be held in August. The Board changed the date to the 24/9/2017 as the candidates were given a chance to apply after extending the application process.

Admit Card will be available to get from 18 September.

The Watchman Exam aspirants do need to get the FCI TN Watchman Admit Card online. The Recruitment Authority will not send the Admit Card by Post or email. Hence, it is necessary for the candidates to get and take print out of the FCI TN Admit Card online. The Admit card can be get from 9 September 2017.

As the exam has been rescheduled on 24 September 2017, the Board will upload the Admit Cards 15 days before the examination. It is already mentioned by the Board that the Admit Card will be available online only.

Tamil Nadu FCI Watchman Paper pattern

The written test shall be held in Tamil/Hindi/English language in the Offline mode (Objective type). The said test shall be of 2 hours duration and shall have 100 Objective type questions with Multiple Choice Answers. The subject wise weightage of question papers are as given below:-

Selection Process of the TN FCI Watchman Recruitment

The candidates of the Watchman Recruitment will go through the various phases. In a very first attempt, the candidates will go through the written examination. The examination will comprise 100 objective type questions.

The candidates who secure a minimum qualifying mark will be called up for the Physical Test. In the PET, the candidates will be tested under 1000m Race, Long Jump, and High Jump

Male candidates: – 

• RUNNING- 1000 Meter in 05 minutes 30 seconds
• Long Jump- 4.000 Meter
• High Jump- 1.35 Meter

Female Candidates: – 

• RUNNING- 800 Meter in 05 minutes
• Long Jump- 3.000 Meter
• High Jump- 1.00 Meter

FCI Watchman Admit card details

The online admit card shall be generated on the above website i.e. (www.fcijobportaltn.com), 15 days prior to the date of the written exam. The candidates are advised to carry the printout of the admit card for attending the exam along with an original Photo ID Proof.

The candidates failing to produce the same will be barred from the examination and won’t be allowed to take part in any further stages of the Recruitment.

Ration Card won’t be considered as a valid Photo ID Card.
