The railways propose to hire willing and qualified doctors on a contract basis under ECR Railway Recruitment for a period of one year which may get extended to a maximum of 12 years for Contract Medical Practitioner, GDMO which are 05 in number. The applicants will be selected after conducting a walk-in interview and selected applicants will get posted at Central cum Super Specialty Hospital/Patna. Educational Qualifications: MBBS + Diploma/ MS in Opthalmology/MD in Medicine is the relevant degrees that need to be possessed by the applicants seeking employment under ECR.

Age Criteria: Counted from 12 November 2020, the applicant’s age should not exceed 53 years. ECR will give age concession to the reserved category doctors.

Application Fee: The doctors need not pay any application fee for railway recruitment.

Pay Scale:

1. Applicants who are specialists will get a pay ranging between Rs.95000 – Rs.105000 per month.
2. Applicants who are just MBBS holders will get a pay of Rs.75000 per month.

Selection Procedure: Personal Interview will be conducted to select the desired candidates.
