Banaras Hindu University will soon announce the CHS Admission Result or CHS e-Lottery Result for Admissions. BHU has scrapped the CHS Entrance Test this year and admission to the Hindu School will be done on the basis of Lottery System. 

Admissions in class 6 to 9 will be conducted on the basis of eLottery Admission List or Selection List. While admissions in class 11 will be completed according to the Merit List. 

BHU CHS Lottery Result or Lottery Draw will be announced after 24 September 2020. 

There will be three Lottery Lots. Every CHS Lottery Lot will have a specific Selection List or Admission List. 50% of the seats are reserved for the Children of BHU Employees. 

BHU CHS Lottery Result Lot 1:

In the first Lot, 3% of the seats will be allocated to the Disabled students

BHU CHS Lottery Result Lot 2: 

• E-Lottery for the ST candidates will be drawn.
• E-Lottery for the SC candidates will be drawn.
• E-Lottery for the OBC-NCL candidates will be drawn.

CHS Lottery Result Lot 3:

Rest of the seats will be allocated to unreserved students. 

The above method is applicable to the admissions in classes 6 to 9. For Admissions in Class 11 will be prepared based on Merit base only. 

Calculation of Merit for Class 11 Admission

Merit (Percent marks obtained) = (Total marks obtained / Total maximum marks of Subjects) X 100 In Boards where marks obtained are given in terms of percentage, such as is CISCE, New Delhi, the merit may be calculated as:

Merit (Percent marks obtained) = ∑ Percent marks of subjects / Number of subjects If two or more candidates are clubbed at the same merit on the basis of Class X marks then the inter se merit will be determined.

Update: BHU has opened fresh applications for the admissions. The last date of submission of Online Application Form/update is 24^th September 2020 for the Academic Session 2020-21.

Banaras Hindu University is going to conduct School Entrance Test (BHU SET) in May 2020 for Class 6, 9, and Class 11 admissions. The School Entrance is being conducted for the admissions in Central Hindu School (both Boys and Girls) run by BHU. The examinations were scheduled to take place from 1 May to 06 May 2020. But amid Covid19 Lockdowns, it is likely to be conducted after 15 May 2020. CHS Admit Card 2020 for the School Entrance Test was scheduled to be released on 11 April 2020. But Exam authorities could not make any further decision to conduct the exam in this situation.

The New Schedule of BHU SET (CHS Admission Test) will be announced very soon.

The students will be able to Get the CHS Admit Card or BHU SET Admit Card at least 15 days before the examination date. Candidates can visit the official website for all updates regarding BHU SET Exam.

About CHS SET: School Entrance Test is conducted by BHU every year to determine the eligibility for the admissions in class 6, class 9, and class 11 (all streams). Based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Test Merit List will be drawn for admission in each class and the candidates will be given a seat in the concerned class strictly based on the merit. For admission in class VI, IX and XI, the candidates will have to come for counseling and they will be offered seats in the class/ subject combination of their choice strictly according to their merit ranking so long as the seats remain available. The candidates for admission in class XI will have to exercise their choice combination immediately on the day of counseling.

The Admit Card will be e-mailed to the candidate at the email addresses provided by the candidate in the application form. SMS alert regarding the issue of Admit Card on the mobile phone registered by the candidate will also be sent. Also, the CHS Admit Card will not reach home by post. The students have to Get and take print of the online CHS Admit Card. Your Admit Card will carry important instructions like Students’ details, Exam center details, Unique Roll Number, and other instructions as well. Therefore, you are all advised to take a proper print of the CHS Admit Card or BHU SET Admit Card.
