The Police Department of Assam has announced the Assam Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2018. The total advertised vacancies for Police Sub Inspectors are 490. Candidates holding the required qualification (See Qualification Below) can apply online for the Assam Police SI Recruitment Drive. Interested candidates can apply online by 12 November.

Desired Educational Qualification

The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Candidate should not be more than 24 years and less than 20 years of age as on 1st January 2018.(Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-1998 and on or after 01-01-1994).

• Written Test: An fully OMR Based Test will be conducted at all district headquarters in Assam.
• Physical Test: 5 Times candidates from each category will be called up for the Physical Test
• Medical Test: Candidates who qualify the previous test will be called up for physical test and document verification
