Account Director
Job Objectives:
- Create goals and account plans to guarantee profitable growth for allocated clients.
- Determine the potential for your firm and lay out your long-term strategy for achieving it.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Be the accountable sales and account director for the given client, seeing to the creation of goals and account strategies.
- Make sure to assess the commercial possibilities of novel services and goods.
- Manage sales prospects from the beginning until the conclusion or award.
- Manage customer interactions detailed to bids and customer visits.
- Maintain and update customer contact information
- Support role to gather client complaints or feedback and forward them to the relevant department for resolution and progress tracking
- Ensure those support obligations, such as those related to the Material Readiness Roadmap and A/C EIS support, customer familiarisation with material management topics, supplier support operations, Sales and Support Manager allocation, and spares availability, are fulfilled in accordance with aircraft purchase agreements.
- Accountable for following up and reporting on problem resolution or necessary escalation
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist assigned customers’ accounts receivables management by monitoring past-due payments and providing general support.
- Help the sales director define, execute, and carry out a sales support strategy.
- Participate in actions supporting Global Account Management (GAM) for customers.
- Lead or take part in ad hoc development/improvement projects/initiatives over the short or long term.
General:
- Respect the mission, values, and quality management guidelines of Satair.

- Understanding, sharing, and upholding Satair’s principles
- Follow the protocols and guidelines established by Satair for each function.

- Find inefficiencies and recommend ways to fix them.

Professional Skills:
- Demonstrated performance with at least 5+ years in a sales job or comparable experience
- Written and spoken English fluency; knowledge of Arabic, French, and German is a plus

- Strong experience working within an account management organization with a track record that includes both leadership and participation
- A depth of knowledge in the aviation industry, particularly in the areas of supply chain management, maintenance, and support commitments from aircraft purchase agreements.
- Background with legal issues related to A/C purchase agreements and/or services contracts Knowledge of and experience working with the Middle East/African aviation market
- Ability to create business cases and the capacity to extrapolate financial ramifications from contract requirements
- The capacity for lengthy travel
