West Bengal Postal Circle GDS Selection Procedure
As per the notification revealed by the recruitment authority, once the application registration process is over, the category wise merit list will be generated by the post office department. The selection list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in 10th Class board exams.
There are no extra marks for higher academic qualifications. However, the candidate who cleared the 10th in the first attempt will be preferred over the one who has completed it after appearing in the compartment exams.
If two applicants are having the same number of marks in 10th exams then the candidate with older age will be selected on the list.
