For the year 2022, the Odisha Board of Secondary Education will be administering the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET). The Odisha TET 2022 is a requirement for anyone interested in applying to be a teacher in an Orissan school. The same will open for registration on October 10, 2022, and end on October 19, 2022. Only if they are qualified for the OTET should they log in.

Educational Qualifications:
Applicants for the OTET Exam must have completed their 12th grade with at least 50% of the required marks and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma (CT or D.El.Ed. ), or they must have completed their 12th grade with at least 45% of the required marks and a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma (Special Education), or they must have graduated with at least 50% of the required marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) These ailments fall within Category A.
For Category B, graduation with a 2-year Elementary Education Diploma OR graduation with at least 45% in the B.Ed. or graduation with at least 50% in the B.Ed. according to the NCTE or graduation with at least 50% in the 12th grade and a 4-year B.El.Ed/B.Sc. Ed/ B.A. or B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed is required.
Application Fee:
- Applicants in the SC and ST applicants need to pay Rs. 400.
- Applicants from other applicants need to pay Rs. 600.

Selection Process:
Two papers will be taken in the OTET 2021 exam: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The testing sessions will last 2.5 hours each. There will be multiple choice questions (MCQ) on the papers, each worth one mark. There won’t be any failing grades.
